Metal profile cutting and drilling

Metal profile cutting and drilling

We cut and drill steel profiles (HEA/HEB, IPE, UNP, angles, rectangular and square hollow sections) on dedicated equipment, for precise cuts and holes, so that every structural element matches the dimensions and angles in the project.

Our cutting capacity covers the profiles commonly used in steel construction, with sections up to roughly 300 mm, which is enough for most industrial hall and load-bearing structure projects.

Profile cutting and drilling are used exclusively within Metal Xpert’s own production, which lets us control quality end to end and keep the workflow running from design through to installation.

How we cut and drill the profiles

These operations let us produce elements that are dimensioned and correctly prepared while still in fabrication, which cuts down on later adjustments and supports fast, clean assembly on site.

Special cut-outs and profiling

For cut-outs or cuts that go beyond what the band saw can do (openings, set-backs, local cut-outs in joint areas), we use a manual plasma cutting unit, sized for cuts up to roughly 20 mm thick.

This lets us carry out:

Where profile cutting fits in our workflow

Profile cutting, drilling and special cut-outs are built into the complete production flow: design, sheet cutting, profile cutting and drilling, assembly, welding and industrial coating.
That way, every steel element leaves our factory ready for installation, with dimensions, angles and hole positions that match the project and the quality standards we commit to.
